DUNDEE BEACH SCENIC FLIGHTS

From 29th March 2024, we will have a Robinson R44 Helicopter based at Dundee Beach for the dry season. The below tours will all depart from Dundee Beach Holiday Park. 

Dundee Beach Quicky - 6 minute flight

Fly east to Madford Inlet, northwest to Paterson Point, south via the coastline to Dundee Beach,

Price: $160 per person

Dundee Beach - 15 minute flight (Best at low tide)

Head northwest via Tahlee Inlet, northwest to Dum In Mirrie Island, coastal to Blue Hole (teeming with sea turtles and other marine life, west to the Vultee Vengeance (WWII plane wreck), return via Paterson Point to the coastline of Dundee Beach.

Price: $295 per person

Dundee Beach - 30 minute flight (Low tide only)

Follow the coastline north to Dum In Mirrie Island, Vultee Vengeance (WWII plane wreck), Blue Hole (teeming with sea turtles and other marine life), head north over Beer Eetar Island, Grose Island, Bare Sand Iand Quail Islands and return to Dundee Beach.

Price: $475 per person

Dundee Beach - 45 minute flight

Fly south along the coastline past Dundee Beach to the mouth of the Finniss River. Head east over the Finniss River Wetlands to Sweets Lagoon and Matt Wright's Top End Safari Camp. North to Crab Claw Island. West via Bynoe Harbour to Blue Hole (usually full of sea turtles, stingrays and sometimes sharks), continue west to Vultee Vengeance WWII aeroplane wreck and finally south along the coast and back to Dundee Beach.

Crab Claw Island Resort

Land for lunch at Crab Claw Island Resort (approx. 1.5 hours, includes lunch, does not include alcohol) - $150 per person.

Airboat times: Any time prior to 10:00 and 15:30 onwards
Lunch 11:00 to 14:00
Lunch and airboat 10:00 to 13:00
Breakfast and airboat 08:00 to 11:00

Litchfield Waterfall Tour - 1 hour 15 minute flight

Price: $965 per person

Southeast to Sweets Lagoon, southeast over the Finniss River wetlands and tropical savannah woodlands to Florence Falls, southwest to Wangi Falls, southeast along the Litchfield escarpment to Tolmer Falls, southeast to Sandy Creek Falls, west to the Reynolds River, northwest over the Finniss River wetlands to the mouth of the Finniss River north via the coast to Dundee Beach.

Upgrade: Swim at Sandy Creek Falls - $160 per person (approx. 1 hour).
