Mission Statement
NT Heli Rescue (NTHR) is committed to achieving excellence in the delivery of air rescue and ambulance services to the Northern Territory.
NT Heli Rescue will be operated by Airborne Solutions and is available to any resident, or visitor to the Northern Territory, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service will enable anyone, within an unspecified radius of Darwin, who requires medical assistance and/or retrieval, to be air lifted and transfered with expediency to professional medical assistance. Strategically located fuel storage will enable the helicopter to service all the most remote locations of the Top End.
The Northern Territory has never had a dedicated civilian helicopter rescue service. NTHR aims to provide a state of the art service that will operate a twin engine helicopter with night capabilities, allowing the Northern Territory to immediately achieve a standard of operations never conducted prior to now.
